Mode of application
Dry broom must first be rinsed with warm water, and then placed in a basin with cold water for 20-30 minutes. After that, drain the water from the basin and pour the broom with hot water for 5-7 minutes.
Just do not fill it with boiling water, otherwise the leaves will become heavy and sticky, and the broom will quickly crumble.
The broom is an excellent remedy for colds. Perfectly relaxes the body and deeply cleanses the pores. The leaves of the steamed broom secrete antimicrobial substances, and essential oils perfectly rejuvenate the skin.
The broom performs three useful functions:
massage;
aromatic;
phytotherapeutic;
It is probably not necessary to talk in detail about what a magnificent massage a broom in capable hands can do for the whole body. The main thing is not to overdo it: slaps should be strong enough, with a drawback, but not painful.
Birch brooms for a bath
Birch has the ability to cleanse internal organs and skin by means of inhaled steam and surface massage. Birch branches are flexible, and the leaves are able to maintain elasticity even after drying. For one trip to the bath for one adult, 4 to 6 brooms are suitable. This amount is enough to carry out 2-3 procedures without damaging the skin and not scratching the branches of a broom.
Eucalyptus Brooms for a bath
Due to the properties of eucalyptus, such a broom is useful for a cold and sore throat, as a preventive natural remedy with aromatic and tonic properties. Broom can be used several times, and at the same time it retains all its healing properties.
Oak Brooms for a bath
Oak sauna whisks are popular among those who prefer aggressive or vigorous massage techniques and hot temperatures. Oak whisks are good for strongly built men, experienced sauna bathers and those experienced in hot steam temperatures. The scent of oak leaves creates a sedative effect, strong anti-inflammatory effect and stress relief.
How to steam with a broom for a sauna:
The broom should first be well moistened with cold water, and then steamed with hot (but not boiling water), so that the leaves and branches, even with a strong blow, stroked and did not cut off the skin.
It is better to work with two brooms at once, rising upward from the bottom of the body.
You can soar yourself, of course, with a broom, but the healing effect and just the pleasure of this activity are small.
How to steam in the sauna:
Bath lovers recommend going to the steam room several times with a little rest between calls. For a beginner, 1-2 calls are enough. Before the bath, it is not recommended to eat, drink strong drinks and engage in heavy physical labor.
1. Before washing, do not wash with soap, as you will protect your skin from drying out. On the head you need to wear a hat or wrap a towel.
2. Stay in the steam room for a beginner should not exceed a few minutes. After the steam room you need to relax, take a cool shower or swim in the pool.
3. It is good to drink herbal tea, kvass or mineral water, and then lie down and relax.
4. If you want to dive into a hole after a steam room or wallow in the snow, then you need to warm up as best as possible.
5. In the second entry to the steam room, you can take a broom. Pre-brooms are steamed in boiling water. Only experienced bath attendants really own a broom.
6. The movements should be soft, barely touching the skin. Periodically, the broom is moistened with water. Careless movement of the broom can burn the skin. The higher the temperature, the weaker the blow should be.
